White House rolls back on their statement from two days ago where they said that “every American can be tested”. This became apartment yesterday when Washington State admitted that they were still having to send tests to CDC’s Atlanta labs. The statement also concluded that the CDC had also lifted all testing regulations so that any American could be tested.

Yesterday a woman located in Seattle, Washington was concerned that she may have contracted the virus as she was experiencing symptoms and had also been in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. She attempted to call the CDC at which point she was placed on a 40 minute hold and decided to try elsewhere. When she contacted her physician they responded that they didn’t even know how to conduct a test for novel coronavirus. She contacted her local ER and finally reached a concerned professional who recommended that she stay home and quarantine until she needed emergency services. At the moment, she still doesn’t know if she has the virus.

You can follow the rest of her thread for more details.

Today, Vice President Mike Pence addressed Americans at a white house briefing and admitted that they do not have a sufficient amount of testing as of right now. He made clear that they were going to be supplying the Grand Princess Cruise ship, that is ton its way back to California, with air-dropped testing kits, but not all passengers can be tested. Currently there are 2,500 passengers on the Grand Princess — 21 persons who are positive for the coronavirus on the Princess Cruise ship — 11 passengers — 10 crew members. At the moment they are unalloyed to dock in San Francisco and when it reaches the bay it is to remain docked at sea while it awaits the testing kits and most passengers are confined to their rooms.

One man who had traveled on the Princess Cruise Ship previously passed away in California. He was aged 71 and did have underlying health issues. There are currently 62 people on the current Princess voyage who were in contact with the man. Newsom declared a state of emergency and said local health officials are working with their federal agencies to trace people who had contact with the man who died.
