President Donald Trump tweeted about Joe Scarborough being suspect in the death of his former employee in 2001 and now "God" is wreaking karma on him through Twitter.

On Tuesday, the virtual Twitter “God”, @TheTweetOfGod with 6.1M followers, tweeted “Donald Trump killed his personal assistant, Carolyn Gombell, in October 2000. He strangled her because he'd gotten her pregnant and was threatening to tell the press. Then he bribed NYPD Police Chief Bernie Kierik to cover it up. IT'S TIME TO INVESTIGATE”. The tweet was retweeted tens of thousands of times by Tuesday afternoon with the hashtag #JusticeForCarolyn, which also went viral.
“God” followed up his original tweet with supposed ‘facts’; “FACT: Carolyn Gombell's mother has AN AUDIO RECORDING of her daughter the night before she was killed saying, "If something happens to me it was Donald.”
"FACT: Forensics at first tentatively matched the residual thumbprints found on Carolyn's neck as 'matching' Trump's own (small) hands, but that finding was later amended and officially ruled ‘inconclusive'.
FACT: In his 2009 autobiography "One Good Cop," Kerik referred to 'a certain well-known real-estate magnate' for whom he had 'made certain inconvenient facts disappear' (page 243).
By the way, it's also interesting that Carolyn's New York roommate Michelle White 'committed suicide' by jumping in front of a subway train NOT TWO WEEKS LATER.
For her parents. For her friends. For the country. For democracy. For truth. For the fiancé she was two weeks from marrying. But most of all... for her. #JusticeForCarolyn"
While the tweet has some validity to it, there seems to be no record of a Carolyn Gombell who ever worked for Donald Trump. Chief Bernie Kierik is a real former infamous NYPD police chief who rose to fame after the 9/11 attack and recently spent time behind bars for tax fraud and lying to the White House and was even pardoned by the president in February.
The original posting about Carolyn Gombell seemed to have surfaced on DemocraticUnderground.com on late Monday evening or at the wee hours on Tuesday, whose post seemed to have come from the same "God" Twitter user, Kingofalldems. Few users have commented on how there is no information online about Carolyn Gombell because “it was a cover up”, so there is no record of her death online. They also claim that Gombell’s roommate, “Michelle White”, committed suicide by jumping in front of a subway train. The original posting has since been deleted by the author, Kingoffalldems.
While the internet is scrubbed of any Carolyn Gombell, that hasn’t stopped many from believing the conspiracy theory, the parody account based on Mitt Romney, @WokeMitt with over 1M followers, weighed in on Twitter; “If Donald Trump was able to murder Carolyn Gombell and cover it up, how many other women has Trump murdered that we don’t even know about? We need an investigation now! #JusticeForCarolyn", while Rick G. Rossner tweeted what appears to be an actual image of Gombell, even though there is no image history beyond Twitter.
The conspiracy theory emerged post Trump’s Tweet over Memorial Day weekend; “A lot of interest in this story about Psycho Joe Scarborough. So a young marathon runner just happened to faint in his office, hit her head on his desk, & die? I would think there is a lot more to this story than that? An affair? What about the so-called investigator? Read story!”, where he referenced a 2017 article published by True Pundit that suggests there’s evidence of foul play in the death of Lori Klausutis, which occurred in 2001.
Klausutis worked for Joe Scarborough, former Florida Congressman and current host of "Morning Joe" on MSNBC, in his Fort Walton, FL office. Klausutis sadly passed away from a head injury sustained on the desk of Scarborough and according to the coroner report, was from “acute subdural hematoma from closed head trauma as a result of blunt force trauma sustained in a fall which was precipitated by complication of floppy mitral valve disease".
Joe Scarborough has been a long time adversary of Trump, and it isn’t the first time that Trump has had beef with him, especially since his MSNBC morning show, "Morning Joe" is a rival of his favored network, Fox News.
The widow of Lori Klausutis reached out on May 21st to Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, asking them to remove the president’s tweets as he claimed that they did not follow Twitter’s guidelines, the letter was published by the New York Times. Twitter reached out in a heart felt reply, while acknowledging his feelings on the politicization of his wife’s death which have haunted him for nearly twenty-years, they stated on Fox News Tuesday morning that Trump’s tweet did not violate Twitter’s User Guidelines but stated;
“We are deeply sorry about the pain these statements, and the attention they are drawing, are causing the family. We’ve been working to expand existing product features and policies so we can more effectively address things like this going forward, and we hope to have those changes in place shortly.”
However, by the end of the day Twitter had taken steps to implement a fact checker to Trump’s tweets.

According to Twitter Rules "Synthetic and manipulated media: You may not deceptively share synthetic or manipulated media that are likely to cause harm. In addition, we may label Tweets containing synthetic and manipulated media to help people understand their authenticity and to provide additional context".
Few have theorized that "God's" tweets are to demonstrate how a media influencer can accuse someone of murder on Twitter, that has viral implications, but no consequences. If Carolyn Gombell is in-fact a made-up person, this is a perfect demonstration of the previous statement, especially highlighting that the accused murder happened nearly twenty years ago.
