Normal beauty routines are taking on new highs as accessible name brands are turning to incorporate CBD into their customers morning regimen.

CBD products have taken on new heights from infused honey for tea to take the edge off, rubbing oils for pain, to CBD infused products to bring new highs into the bedroom. Patients are even touting the new wonder product to helping their skin clear up from breakouts.

There is still a stigma against CBD as some view it as the same product as THC, tetrahydrocannabinol. The difference between CBD, cannabidiol, which is also extracted from the marijuana plant, produces the benefits of THC. CBD is used as a pain reliever, anti- inflammatory, anxiety reducer and even a calming agent for patients who suffer with neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, but doesn’t have the psychedelic affect that users get from THC. So there is no way that a CBD product that contains zero THC will get you high.

There is also a difference between hemp oil and CBD oil. Hemp oils are extracted from marijuana, but contain little to no THC or CBD and is rich with omega fatty acids and Vitamin E. Unless hemp oil contains either CBD or THC, it does not hold the same effects as them.

Now that the effects of CBD are generally recognized and the extraction is deemed legal, companies are getting high on the idea of introducing CBD products to their company lines. Sephora, for example, jumped on board by rolling out new beauty merchandise that includes the occult product CBD. They even offer a CBD “high” volume mascara called “Kush” by Milk Makeup and is said to hydrate lashes, even after wear, and fuses heart-shaped fibers to your lashes without fallout.

Amazon offers what is dubbed “The Original CBD Bath Bomb”, which offers a variety of CBD infused bath bombs that has 30mg of sativa full spectrum CBD. The household brand, Keihl’s, released a sativa seed oil, “Kiehl's Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate”, which works to reduce redness and calm acne-prone skin and appeared in Allure in April. In March of 2019, CVS announced that it will sell products containing CBD in eight states, Alabama, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Tennessee, bringing the miracle product closer to your front door.

So while your dreaming up your next at-home spa treatment of oils, face masks, or filling up your tub for a relaxing or pain-reducing soak, consider adding a CBD infused product to your beauty regimen.
