The Vig has multiple locations, the McDowell Mountain restaurant being the fifth and latest, through out Arizona and is seriously crushing the food scene. Not only is the food delicious, ranging from salads to burgers and everything in between, but they have an amazing patio space equip with fire pits, sports screens, live music, scenic views, a faux grass area that is great for all ages along with fun yard games to keep everyone entertained for hours. The Vig’s Wedge Salad will seriously make you believe in salads again.With fresh baby romaine, charred tomato, avocado, bacon, red onion, creamy feta dressing, grilled bread and drizzled in balsamic, you won’t believe you’re eating a salad in the least bit!
Their burger is definitely something to write home about and we recommend bringing a friend to split the salad and burger with a side of onion rings, its the perfect meal.
The menu also includes brunch options Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm. The “Hangover Helper” brunch menu also includes $4 Tito’s Bloody Mary’s, $3 mimosas and 1/2 priced bottle of wine Sunday’s.
We tried the “Adulting So Hard” cocktail which included Jameson Irish whiskey, amaretto liqueur, passion fruit, pineapple juice, lime and angostura bitters, one will make you remember that you’re an adult and two will make you forget!
We had a bit of fun playing card trivia and a little embarrassed to admit that the trivia wasn’t simple. The Vig’s relaxed upscale atmosphere allows its patrons to clean up after their meal and lounge on the patio, taking advantage of the games, live music, fire pits or large screen televisions.
